Suggestions for Tradition Home Décor:
• Your front door will be the first thing that judges look at and can be the main focus of your decorations.
• Spotlights can be used for extra visibility but should be covered so as not to distract from decorations. This applies to drop cords, plug ins and other hardware used.
• All other windows, door, or yard décor will add to the overall appearance of your home and will be considered in the judging of your home.
• Your home will not be judged based on size. The judges will look at whether your house size and the amount of decorations used correlate.
Suggestions for Sugar Plum Award:
• Kid (and adult) friendly decorations will be considered in the judging.
• Whimsical, Magical and Fanciful are the words that come to mind when we judge for this award.
