Enjoy the Lights...

On Thursday, December 4 at 6:00 p.m., Fountain Inn City Council members set out alongside three out-of-town judges to tour each City ward in search of the most festive homes. With clipboards and a set of judging criteria in hand, the judges traveled street by street (in a vehicle with flashers on), noting their favorite holiday decorations along the way. Homes with their lights on were eligible for consideration. Working together, the judges selected their favorites in each ward, ultimately naming the winners of the Annual House Decorating Contest. Once selected, recognition signs were placed in the winning yards. To help everyone enjoy the holiday cheer, a map highlighting each winning home is available for residents to create their own festive driving tour. Congratulations to our winners—and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to decorate this holiday season, helping bring beauty and Christmas magic to the City of Fountain Inn.
