Christmas Carriage Ticket Policy

Last Updated: 10.30.26

Ticket Purchases & Refunds

  • All ticket sales are final. Refunds will only be issued if the City of Fountain Inn cancels a scheduled ride or authorizes refunds due to weather-related or operational interruptions.

  • Refunds will not be issued for scheduling conflicts, changes in personal plans, late arrivals, or missed reservations.

  • Please verify your selected date, time, and number of tickets before completing your purchase.

Arrival & Check-In

  • Guests should arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled ride.

  • Carriage rides depart at designated times. Late arrivals and no-shows are not eligible for refunds or guaranteed an alternate ride time.

Seating Arrangements & Safety

  • We will make every effort to seat members of your party together. However, seating arrangements are determined by carriage guides, who are most familiar with the horses, carriages, and appropriate safety requirements.

  • For the safety and comfort of all guests and horses, guides must consider passenger distribution, carriage capacity, and proper weight balance when assigning seats.

  • Guests may not select or change their own seats unless instructed by a carriage guide. All guests must follow the instructions of carriage guides and City staff.

Weather Delays & Cancellations

  • Carriage rides are subject to weather and operating conditions. The City of Fountain Inn reserves the right to delay, modify, or cancel rides to ensure the safety of guests, horses, and staff.

  • If the City cancels a scheduled ride, affected ticket holders may request a refund or reschedule, subject to availability.

  • If weather or operational conditions prevent a ride from departing at its scheduled time, affected guests may choose a refund or request to reschedule.

  • Rescheduling is subject to available dates, times, and carriage capacity. The City cannot guarantee availability later that evening or on another date, particularly for larger groups.

  • Guests whose scheduled rides remain available, but who choose not to attend are not eligible for refunds.

Ticket Transfers

  • Guests may give their tickets to another person. Any transfer arrangements are solely the responsibility of the original purchaser and the recipient.

  • The City of Fountain Inn does not facilitate, verify, or assume responsibility for private ticket transfers or transactions between individuals.

  • Transferred tickets remain valid only for the originally scheduled date and time.

Children & Infants

  • Every guest, including children and infants, must have a ticket and be included in the total passenger count.

  • Children may not be excluded from the reservation count on the assumption that they will sit on an adult's lap.

  • Carriage capacity limits are established for the safety of passengers and horses and cannot be exceeded.

Acknowledgment

By purchasing tickets, guests acknowledge and agree to these policies. The City of Fountain Inn reserves the right to make operational adjustments necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
